"Essential Worker" is a chiptune project in homage to the long-suffering and endurance of the working class. Not just nurses and caretakers, but retail workers, customer service representatives, food service employees, and anybody else whose work is tedious, repetitive, often degrading and greatly underappreciated. This album makes an attempt to mythologize and satirize that mundane experience, to laugh at the chaos, and hopefully show some solidarity to anyone who is or has ever worked a job like this.
